OUR SERVICES · VIETNAM & CHINA

Make the decision. Build the path forward.

Enter Vietnam or China, assess an opportunity or strengthen an existing operation. Connect the commercial question with country-specific evidence, structure and practical steps needed to move forward.

START WITH THE DECISION

What needs to be resolved before you commit?

A market-entry plan, an acquisition and an operational expansion require different evidence. We shape the work around the decision, the stage of your project and the questions that remain open.

Explore an opportunity

Clarify customer demand, market access, potential partners and the assumptions behind the investment case.

Prepare a commitment

Compare routes to market, examine commercial risks and connect the preferred option to an actionable establishment or transaction plan.

Strengthen execution

Translate strategy into responsibilities, operating requirements, supplier relationships and a sequence of management decisions.

CONNECTED CAPABILITIES

Five areas of support. One coherent decision process.

01 / ENTER & ESTABLISH

Market entry & company setup

Assess the commercial rationale for entering Vietnam or China and connect the selected route with the practical requirements of establishment.

Questions we help structure

  • Which customer segments and routes to market justify further investment?
  • Should the business enter directly, through a distributor or through a local partnership?
  • What operating presence, management capacity and specialist advice will be required?

Potential deliverables

An entry-options comparison, market-access assumptions, establishment workstreams and a launch roadmap with responsibilities and dependencies.

02 / UNDERSTAND & VALIDATE

Market intelligence & commercial due diligence

Test the commercial assumptions behind a market, company or partnership opportunity. Distinguish evidence from estimates and make information gaps visible.

Questions we help structure

  • Who buys, how do they buy and what drives their choice?
  • Which competitors, substitutes and channel constraints shape the opportunity?
  • How sensitive is the business case to customer concentration, pricing or execution assumptions?

Potential deliverables

A market and competitor map, customer or channel findings, an assumptions register and a commercial decision brief with unresolved checks.

03 / EVALUATE & TRANSACT

Transactions, partnerships & M&A support

Bring structure to the commercial assessment of a potential acquisition, partnership or investment. Connect strategic fit with diligence priorities and post-decision execution.

Questions we help structure

  • What capability, customer access or strategic position does the opportunity provide?
  • Which assumptions need validation before the next decision gate?
  • What governance and integration questions should be resolved early?

Potential deliverables

A screening framework, commercial assessment, diligence workstream map and implementation considerations for management review.

Legal, tax, financial and other specialist diligence requirements are agreed separately. Commercial assessment does not replace those reviews.

04 / ORGANISE & EXECUTE

Operations, organisation & supply chain

Translate a growth or manufacturing strategy into operating choices. Examine locations, supplier capabilities, responsibilities and the dependencies that affect delivery.

Questions we help structure

  • Which activities should be owned, outsourced, partnered or sourced locally?
  • What evidence is needed to evaluate a supplier or production location?
  • Who owns implementation, and how will progress and exceptions be managed?

Potential deliverables

A location or supplier comparison, qualification priorities, an operating-model outline and an implementation roadmap with decision gates.

05 / STRUCTURE & COORDINATE

Tax, accounting & compliance coordination

Clarify the reporting, record-keeping and specialist workstreams around an establishment, transaction or growing operation. Make ownership and information requirements explicit.

Questions we help structure

  • Which matters require advice from qualified local specialists?
  • What information and internal controls do those specialists need?
  • How should compliance responsibilities fit into the wider operating model?

Potential deliverables

A requirements and responsibility map, specialist briefing pack, information checklist and coordinated work plan, subject to the agreed mandate.

The engagement scope must identify the qualified professionals responsible for regulated advice, filings, assurance or representation. No such service is implied by this overview.

WHAT YOU TAKE FORWARD

Know what to decide.
Know what to do next.

A clear view of your options, the evidence behind them and the steps needed to move forward—not just a market overview.

Built around your mandate. Deliverables, research depth, access requirements and timing are agreed before work begins. Selected to suit the assignment, not a fixed package.

  • Decision brief

The decision to be made, viable alternatives, key findings and recommended next steps—ready for management review.

  • Evidence register

Separate what is known from what still needs to be tested: sources, assumptions, information gaps and validation priorities.

  • Options comparison

Compare routes on consistent commercial criteria, with trade-offs, risks and conditions for commitment made visible.

  • Action roadmap

Turn the preferred option into a sequenced plan: workstreams, owners, dependencies, milestones and decision gates.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before we start.

Can we begin with a narrow question?

Yes. A first phase can focus on one market-entry option, location, product family, partner or commercial assumption. The scope should state what that phase will resolve and what it cannot establish.

What should we prepare for an initial discussion?

A short description of the business, the decision under consideration, the stage of the project and the main uncertainties is enough to frame an initial conversation. Detailed confidential material should follow only through an agreed channel and process.

Do all five service areas need to be combined?

No. Workstreams are selected around the decision. Where several are needed, their dependencies should be explicit so the commercial, operational and specialist reviews inform each other.

How are scope and timing established?

They depend on the decision, available information, stakeholder access and required verification. The proposal should define deliverables, responsibilities, exclusions, milestones and the handling of changes before work begins.

What happens when a question needs specialist advice?

The requirement is identified and the relevant specialist workstream is agreed. Commercial and operational analysis should not be treated as a substitute for legal, tax, accounting, technical or other regulated professional advice.

Can the scope compare Vietnam and China?

Yes. A comparative scope should use the same business objective and decision criteria while keeping country evidence separate. Customer access, partner capability, operating responsibilities and specialist requirements are assessed for each option. Regional coordination does not imply a common legal structure or one set of local approvals.

HOW WE WORK

A clear decision. A structured path forward.

Four connected steps, shaped around your objectives and the scope of the assignment.

  1. Define the decision

Clarify objectives, investment criteria and the assumptions to test. Agree which decisions leadership needs to make.

  2. Build the evidence

Collect and assess the agreed information. Distinguish findings from assumptions and identify the checks still required.

  3. Design the roadmap

Translate the evidence into practical choices, a governance model and a sequenced implementation plan.

  4. Prepare the next phase

Define owners, milestones and specialist inputs. Implementation support is included only where agreed in the mandate.
