MEKONG PARTNERS / INSTITUTIONAL DIALOGUE / UNIVERSITY & BUSINESS CONNECTIONS
Events & Engagements
Selected moments where business experience meets education, enterprise development and public discussion. Explore the documented engagements and the longer-term collaboration behind them.
Engagement with a practical purpose
University–industry exchange
Bring operating questions into conversations with students, educators and businesses. The UMT partnership links the educational relationship to practical business context; the dedicated partnership page provides the fuller account.
Mentorship and export capability
Mentorship helps businesses organise their commercial proposition, readiness gaps and next steps. The separate DBAV R2E page explains the programme context without presenting participation as an export guarantee.
Business dialogue and public contribution
Events complement press, television and podcast contributions. Use the media pages for the public commentary itself, and this page for the setting, participants and engagement context.
SELECTED DOCUMENTED MOMENTS
Collaboration in practice.
16 MAY 2025 / HO CHI MINH CITY
UMT–Mekong Partners cooperation agreement
Mekong Partners and the University of Management and Technology Ho Chi Minh City signed their cooperation agreement. The university collaboration connects industry experience with discussion of skills, learning and professional preparation.
2024 / READY TO EXPORT
DBAV R2E mentor appreciation
Mickaël Driol’s contribution to the Ready to Export mentorship programme brought commercial and operating experience to Vietnamese SMEs preparing for international growth. This record concerns his mentorship contribution, not an announcement of new programme admissions.
ONGOING KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE
An event is a moment. The contribution can continue.
UNIVERSITY–INDUSTRY DIALOGUE / DATE NOT SPECIFIED IN THE RECORD
Connecting programme outcomes with practical capabilities
Alongside the cooperation agreement, Mickaël has contributed advisory input on training-programme outcomes and participated in university–industry discussion at UMT. The published education page provides the fuller context.
Other knowledge-exchange contributions include an expert interview for a Master’s thesis at the National Economics University in Hanoi. Our university-partnership page brings these activities together without treating every contribution as a formal institutional partnership.
PUBLIC BUSINESS DISCUSSION
Interviews and commentary are collected in their dedicated archives.
Our public contributions address investment decisions, sourcing, operating capabilities and Vietnam’s business environment. Television appearances and press coverage remain in their existing pages; this page links to them rather than reproducing the archive.
CONTINUE THE EXCHANGE
Discuss an engagement with a clear purpose.
For a university dialogue, SME-support initiative, panel discussion or interview, tell us the intended audience, topic, format, date and the contribution you have in mind. Availability and participation are agreed for each request.
Selected engagements drawn from our published university, mentorship and media records. Event dates are shown where documented; ongoing activities are identified separately.
